Draft Parking Review

Hello

I am writing to you as a listed stakeholder or interested party to notify you of our intention to hold a public consultation regarding changes to on street parking restrictions in Hungerford, Newbury, Chieveley, Greenham, Thatcham, Aldermaston, Beenham, Padworth, Theale, Purley on Thames, Tilehurst and Stratfield Mortimer. The public consultation will run from 9am on Thursday 27^th November 2025 to midnight on Thursday 18^th December 2025.

Below is a list of all the roads that are affected, and their approximate locations (where appropriate). Due to the number of locations and multiple changes at some locations it would be impractical to list their exact locations, the restrictions to be changed and reasons why in this email. However, all this information and more can be found on the following web page – www.westberks.gov.uk/parking-review-37 .

 Information on these proposals will also be published in the Newbury Weekly News (on 27^th Nov), on site notices (erected 26^th Nov) and on our social media channels this week. We encourage people to submit comments via the survey link on the web page, but emails and letters (to this team) can also be accepted. No comments will be considered in any form if they are received after Thursday 18^th Dec 2025.
